“Davison’s ability to synthesize the ‘rules’ of painting with his tactile sense  and fascination with ordered space of “Contemporary Art” (Tueule - 2001)

An Adopted Son, in 1970, with a mysterious genetic family history, unfolds in the present. Always experimenting with material, torn paper, cut into remnants of happy accidents. His painting efforts have been on hiatus, mental health self reflection in order. His New work is an explosion of lost creative time, ranging from an examination of Dolls and how we relate historical icons as art, not plastic garbage. Today its Tactile collage offers a story that takes a magnifying glass. Today, in a prolific stint of painting and sculpture, He is exploring the transparency of process as an element of visual fact.

This show at Bean Around the World, lands just blocks from his past space Upstairs Gallery (Ferrris’ Upstairs now) From Torn Together to Sheared Together in 25 years.
